Re: 20th NY Congressional Debate on Television

Columbia County resident, Eric Sundwall and three Democratic candidates for NY’s 20th Congressional District announce a television debate in June.

The League of Women Voters of Columbia and Greene counties has agreed to moderate a live studio audience debate on the Mid-Hudson Cable network on June 14th at their facility in Hudson.

Morris Guller, Ed Pell and Doug Walters have accepted the invitation from the Sundwall campaign for debate. That program will be made available by each campaign and broadcast via the Mid-Hudson cable system.

Mid Hudson Media will produce and air the debate on June 14th. Studio capacity is limited to 70 people. Interested people should contact any of the participating campaigns or Mid Hudson Media. All candidates will have the opportunity to participate up until the June 14th event itself.

Quote Morris Guller, "Debate is the hallmark of a Democracy. I look forward to sharing in this tradition on June 14th"

Quote Ed Pell “This election and the next twenty years are a time of great change. With the people of the 20th congressional district participating we can make it positive change. Please attend. Please come out and ask question of all those who would ask to represent you. ”

Quote Eric Sundwall “These debates will offer the voters of the 20th district opportunity to interact and explore the issues and views of each participating candidate. We look forward to an open democratic process.”
