We're posting this entry that we tried over at the de facto Gillibrand blog, 20TrueBlue.
Or is it just a big Sweeney bashfest ?
Where are you Troy Polloi ? Demacratus ?
Here's the text of it. Well Lisa M ?
There is a debate next week between Democratic candidates, Morris Guller, Ed Pell and Doug Walters by the invitation of Columbia County candidate, Eric Sundwall.
If this is truly not the de facto 'Gillibrand' blog, please explain your lack of coverage of the matter or the absence of Ms. Gillibrand.
It will be held approximately two blocks from the new Gillibrand HQ at the very reputable MidHudson Media studio. In addition it will be moderated by the Columbia and Greene County League of Women Voters.
Where is the 'Great Spirit of Debate' called for in the ethics IOU issued last February ?

Not sure what you mean when you ask this question, I've looked over Gillibrand's Ethics IOU no pledge in it promising to participate in debates with other candidates. I'm sure Gillibrand is focusing her efforts in the areas that she feels will best ensure her a victory against Sweeney. She participates in Open Meetings each month and recently had a great Q and A with voters at a fundraiser in Greenwich.
While the candidates you mentioned seem to be running a race against Gillibrand, it is clear that Gillibrand is treating Sweeney as the opponenet -- not the other candidates.

There's language in one of the anemic .pdf's about the Great Spirit of Debate. Only a lawyer would twist it to mean just Sweeney. My opponents are the Republican & Democratic juntos. The have lead us to war and produced a 9 trillion dollar debt. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't make to the mixer.
