Many give the Libertarian Party a hard time for being losers. Aside from the fact that we stand forever unable to win in such a system, our candidates are pretty decent people.
When I look at the GOP candidate for AG and our own Chris Garvey, I'm amazed more people wouldn't want to vote for him. What's up with these candidates from Westchester and their out of control hubby's ?
Chris carried over 500 signature petitions for his own candidacy as well as other statewide candidates. In fact, one time this summer he appeared in 'period' costume and collected almost 200 sigs in a few hours. He's gifted and accomplished attorney.
Chris has run for Governor (1998) and is also a certified yachtsmen. The most important aspect in this regard is quality. He's helped our campaign on numerous legal issues and is willing to defend the principles of Liberty. I'm betting he doesn't have his wife taped to keep tabs on her. I'm not sure who his dad was, but I'm betting he never served for too long as Governor.
