Judicial Straight Jacket - Part I

If not for three 'random' people represented by the top election law lawyer in the GOP, we would not have had to waltz into Federal Court and ask why over 1300 people were completely disenfranchised from Democracy in NY's 20th Congressional District. straightJacket.jpgYou have to be nice in court. An empty, large intriquely wood paneled room with classic pewter ordornments, black marble compliments, sleek video screens and microphones. Everybody jumps up like a sargent in a room full of officers when the man in black enters. In the end the judge seemed very sympathetic and hoped we had luck on up the line. Walk the line.

It seems reasonable to me to ask that the 'town' requirement on the independent petitioning be held unconstitutional. At the very least we could have rid future efforts the arcane need. I wanted to jump and yell 'You could have three main streets in the Town of Kinderhook ! (Niverville, Valatie and Kinderhook itself . . ).' Aside from the mistake none of the 'experts' picked up on the difference between NYS 130 and 140. The BOE did.The%20Rage%20at%20Injustice.jpg

I didn't expect to be put on the ballot again, but knocking something down would have been the effect. Nobody called about N. Korea today. The time and money isn't there to proceed . . . More on general ballot access issues later. Digging up a video or two also. Good hunting - Go LP ! Got some MSM in today too. All the voters are on a disk and many do not know there town. It's our fault (the campaign) ultimately, but we're ALL still stuck with a real bad system. Learn and help fix it - Vote Clifton Silberger !
