There's some good stuff out there countering the silly ideas both 'top' dogs seem to be spouting.
Word on the street is that Ms. Benjamin will be at the LPNY convention on Saturday.

Our TU blog attempt. They still may approve it.
I see two lawyer candidates who don't understand economics or appreciate free markets. Taxation and government MTBE mandates have contributed signaficantly to this problem. While price 'fixing' maybe a legitmate role for cape crusading AG's, price 'gouging' is a misnomer. Price 'controling' will only hurt the consumer in the long run. As prices rise, market mechanisms will be the best solution for alternative energy solutions. Mandating costly programs and tagging them with nobel labels might play well at cocktail hour, but the real heroes are the backyard mechanics scooping up old diesels and converting them to bio fuels while eliminating costly waste products from the restaurant industry.
